Day 25/50
Erm, I actually haven't updated in 20 million years
(procrastination) BUT I have done quite a bit since then, working on making a couple games 🙂
TLDR;
• Worked on game for band concert background video
• Worked on developing idea for my game jam entry
Specifically today, I've been working on a game that I wanted to show for background graphics for my band class's upcoming concert. This game is for the piece "Pixels" by Randall Standridge. I mainly worked on adjusting player physics and player inputs for the boss fight arena to correlate with the level 3 section in the piece of music. It took me SOO long just to fix it but I finally got it.
I also started working on planning the idea for my Girls Got Game game jam entry. My original idea was WAY too complicated for me to do within the time span of the game, so I came up with a more simpler idea that I could execute within Ren'py as a sort of visual novel.
Day 4
1. Had a massive sleep in! Didn't sleep until 2am last night because I was out so late so slept in until 12PM as it's a Saturday!
2. Did a ton of study for Level 3 Economics on Monday!
3. A bit of work for #C07KRNHG339|
4. Biked down to my yacht club and then went to the gym there
5. Had a relaxing day, got some sailing and study for tomorrow, and after Monday I'll be free (for a week), and then I have 4 exams on the last week of exams
finally free after that though!
Overall, a good day!
Day 3/50
I worked on learning lua syntax at school, since I want to use lua for another one of the command line games i want to make + eventually make Roblox games.
Not technically a book but I finished reading a webtoon today (in one day too). I’m going to submit it as a credit for the school program as well to get more points.
Day 2/50....
I finished writing the background for all of the characters for the "game." I did more picrews for the character images as well. I also worked on writing more code. I finished adding all locations to the print statement for choosing a location, and I moved around some parts of my code so that certain variables and methods could be accessible throughout all of the code. I'll try to work way more on the actual code tomorrow if I'm not sick.
I read more of 1984 earlier this morning, which is helping me get toward my reading goals for the remaining 50 days :]
