Day 1 of 50; I: • woke up at 7AM for no reason (no school today because of Veterans Day in the US) 🛏 • worked on @FoldingPaper(lraj23) , my #C08SKC6P85V| project, for 6h and hit 10 hours this week (week started 48 hr)

• got to spot number 2 on #C08SKC6P85V| leaderboard (see above and below)

• kind of made a paper roller coaster for a group project (carrying my team) 🎢 • ate samosa chaat

• made 7 contributions on GitHub, including merging a pull request from @jollyroger182

• reached a Duolingo streak of 796

project 2 (oct 14 - oct 28) - finishing the basic stuff with cursedOS day 7 - today i started working on memory management for cursedOS : 1. well starting the implementation (commit) 2. updating it + translation (commit) for some context cursedOS is a...well cursedOS @/guacmd and have been working on! pretty much all of it up until now was made on nano on a macbook that was running arch linux so this is the first time im working on it on a code editor with rust analyser which as been so awesome lol this is what's going on so far

WakaTime but FOSS and made with a

Rust backend,

Sveltekit frontend and

TimescaleDB (Postgres extension) • why? I though it would be a cool project

starting a new challenge for myself to ship a new technical project every 2-3 weeks. hoping to be able to stick to this and by the time i graduate i should have 12 new projects at the minimum :) project 1 (oct 5 to oct 18) - my personal website getting a much needed revamp i've had the same website for almost a year and a couple of month now and it's in html/css which about a year and a half ago was the only web-dev stuff i was proficient in

i'm now good with astro :P so i'm gonna be revamping my site in astro and today i started working on the design for it! spent like 5 hours in a huddle with some friend in my channel locking in :) next steps - start working on the code + figure out the rest of the pages

I've just shipped liveboard!

It currently only has core features, but I've put work into making the overall structure and framework for it, so it can easily be expanded in future. Essentially, Liveboard is an app that transforms your computer desktop into an endless whiteboard canvas. All you have to do is minimise your window, and creativity is right at hand! Super proud, I've shipped my first project for SOM after 29+ hours of work... It's called volo-system and it's a (WIP) all-in-one solution for signing-up, onboarding and managing volunteers at events. Currently you can log in with a magic link, create an event, and sign-up to volunteer at the event. I made this because in Lublin (my hometown) I volunteered at many cultural events with Warsztaty Kultury - Carnaval Sztukmistrzow, Noc Kultury (Night of Culture) and Inne Brzmienia (Other Sounds). The volunteer coordinators spent HOURS creating PDFs with schedules, making sure everyone submitted every form, confirming people's availability, gathering preferences etc... I want to give this time back to them so that they have the time to actually work with volunteers to make the events the best they can be, and not for them to get buried in admin work. The app is not finished, not all features are implemented, but after 29+ hours I felt that I have an MVP and can ship it as-is before other features are implemented. Tried drawing after very long time. I wanted to make a hand drawn, cartoony version of my previous pfp and I got started working. I had difficulty with perspective, especially with the eyes, but I'm happy on how it turned out.

For scrapyard, my partner and I worked together to make a demonstration of what we thought simulates the captcha verification web standard along aided with unclosable, unskippable, unblockable and depending on the intensity set, very obstructive advertisements for the year 2035. Just like current day captchas, not everyone can make it through. Regardless, the most important point is make sure you're a real, breathing human. You can customize of the simulation intensity with the slider on the page.

Today I made #C08H6U4BQKB|! It's currently built out of 14 workflows and 4 lists. It's by far the most complicated thing I've made with workflows, and it's really fun seeing everyone trying to figure out what the solution to the puzzle is! (rip my slackbot notifications though lol, i'm getting so many)

After working for a bit on a bot that will inform users about cybersecurity, I decided it was about time that I added a second level to my Slime Game that I made this summer. So I opened Godot and got to work. I first implemented the function that will transport the user to the next level, then, I started working on actually making it!
