I finally made the connections to airpods automatic on the ALN Android app! Now I don't need to worry about accidentally opening the app before connecting the airpods. I had to move around the whole service into a new one that also listens for bluetooth connections, and refactor all of my UI code, and the actual part where the l2cap socket is opened and a connection is established. Because originally the service would only run when airpods were connected. Now, the service always runs and connects to the socket itself! Along with that, I also fixed the QuickSettings tile which kept on crashing for some reason. I tried to add a overlay to show whenever airpods are connected! And it turned out to be really difficult. Continue working on Muffin (a weird programming language that allows you to write programs that look like cooking recipes) Regarding the syntax I changed the "dilute" statement into "add water" to make it less redundant. Day three working on the parser; today I implemented the "add ... into ..." grammar; the picture below shows a sample program ~~that doesn't make sense~~ and the AST generated for it by the compiler. Today i added a play zone to my card game. I tried to add a feature to reorder, but it is not working atm :heavysob: github.com/PonderSlime/Magic-Card-Game Edit: You can reorder, but only by moving the bottommost (leftmost) card to the top (rightmost) position. Not really what i wanted :im-sobbing: , but im not going to worry about fixing it, as it is a very minor thing.

Today I haven't really done much but I do want to work on the chatting system a little better for HomeNet. I've also been fixing a handful of compilation issues with the project as I haven't started compiling the code until recently. In my configuration for NixOS, I added declarative managing of secrets using Sops-nix and used it to set my brave sync code, ssh private key, and my user password. I'll add more stuff later, but this is it for now. Idk what to upload for a pic, so I'll upload a pic of my encrypted secrets.yaml file, which is public.

I managed to style my AirPodsLikeNormal android app a little bit better now. • The top app bar blurs the background (wth google! you're saying i can't blur background on jetpack compose directly!?) • The sliders are better themed now • and i tracked down a bug where the app would activate bluetooth audio profiles (a2dp and hsp) when they were put into case, just after deactivating them after they're taken out of ear Not much of an update, just because the blurring part took me 3 hours -_- GitHub - github.com/kavishdevar/aln Original Scrap - hackclub.slack.com/archives/C01504DCLVD/p1732651925430999

Today I reworked my schematic for a modular 40 amp PSU to use a CH32 microcontroller (CH32X035) instead of an STM32. My goal is to save costs and add USB-C Power delivery capability for charging a battery. first day on break, meaning first day of thanksgiving week coding! today I worked on bringing my game engine's github back up to speed after merging some old changes. took a bit of work (and more pushes than i would like to admit) to get windows builds back up, especially considering the absolute sins committed in that codebase. i also managed to remove one of the longest-standing bandaid fixes i had in place for MSVC compilation which was nice (though in the future i'm switching to mingw-w64 for my own sanity).
