this is literally insane to me but in the span of one week i: • :rocket_animated: flew to los angeles for ascend and actually made a (semi functional) hackathon project • 🎓 graduated high school ?!??!? what • :python: presented a project of mine (the very first project i scrapbooked) at pycon australia's student showcase, over in melbourne (the student showcase might be an australian-only thing :fucking_sobbing:) along the way, i hung out with some great friends, spoke to a lot of awesome new people, got some nice swag, spent a lot of time travelling in planes and through different cities. seriously, if you'd told thirteen year old me that i'd be doing all this i absolutely would not have believed you at all tl;dr the real projects were the friends we made along the way or something like that

hopefully the final major feature i'm adding to my website, which mimics a linux terminal: folders! • use cdto navigate between the only two directories that exist right now (~/ and /blog, which contains - you guessed it - blog posts). • there's also support for reading files from the parent folder! been working on pyflagoras for a while now, it's a python package that lets you generate pride flags using the palette of any photo :) since my last scrapbook post w/ this i've: • fixed a lot of issues with the flag data i was using • added the ability to export the flags as pngs and not just svgs • added flag aliases to make the flag names easier to type • implemented logging of coordinates for those who are curious where the colours used were found • and more! github.com/phthallo/pyflagoras

My Pyflagoras project is working now! It generates pride flags from any picture that you submit. I've been working on it for a bit but I finally managed to fix a bug with some of the flag data. Happy Pride month everyone : ) github.com/phthallo/pyflagoras
