Day 3 of #C045S4393CY|! I didn’t make too much progress, but there was a whole lot of struggle trying to find the footprints for the leds and resistors that I wanted. Lot of searching online trying to find the right part happened today. Once I finally found and assigned the footprints I needed, I tried to import them all into the pcb, but when I did, all I could see was the ratsnest of connections that needed to be made, but I couldn’t see any of the components. I’ll be figuring that out tomorrow.
Day 2 of #C045S4393CY|! I wired up the leds, and I also realized I had to redo the key switches because I forgot to add 2 columns, so I changed that as well. (I did add another row as well). Because of that, I had to rearrange my key layout. I also discovered that I might need an io expander, so I worked on adding that too
Okay, so yesterday, I got a head start on designing the layout of my keyboard and placing the switches. Today, I worked on wiring up the matrix and labeling all the rows and columns. I also connected them all to the pico. Another thing I need to figure out is how to connect up the leds, becuase I wasn’t sure if there was a way to integrate them into the matrix or not
Today, I worked on a decrypter and encryptor for Caesar’s cipher. Yeah, I know it’s kind of basic, but I figured it would be an interesting way to switch things up. After working on that for a while, I switched and added some coins to level 2 of my Slime Game, and then I started on level 3
This is my scrapbook post for yesterday:
I think I’ve mostly finished level 2 of my Slime Game! All that’s left is to add some coins, and then I can move on to level 3. I also need to test the level and scan through my code to make sure all the variables are resetting properly. I also changed around my initial design of the level, to make it a bit harder
After working for a bit on a bot that will inform users about cybersecurity, I decided it was about time that I added a second level to my Slime Game that I made this summer. So I opened Godot and got to work. I first implemented the function that will transport the user to the next level, then, I started working on actually making it!
Today, I worked more on my Browser Buddy project. I added a pop-up pane that has a list of buttons with links to cat themed productivity tools. I think I’ve pretty much finished the extension and am ready to submit it. I also made a anime style logo (at acon’s workshop today) for one of my other current projects: my kitty themed Minecraft mod. I’m really happy with all the progress I made today, and I can’t wait to make more tomorrow!
